Trombonist Aleš Levačič began studying music at the Slavko Osterc Music School in Ljutomer and continued his education at the Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet under Mihael Švagan. In 2020, he graduated with honours from the Graz University of Music and Performing Arts, where he also completed his master’s studies. He has furthered his studies with renowned trombonists and other brass players, such as Branimir Slokar, Roger Bobo, Peter Štuhec, Carsten Swanberg, Lars Karlin, Peter Steiner and Sascha Hois. Aleš Levačič is the recipient of numerous awards at international and domestic competitions. Since 2021, he has been a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor.
